Valtteri Bottas got his farewell from Mercedes on a day when the team celebrated its eighth F1 constructors’ title at Brixworth and Brackely.

Amid all the dramas of appeals or no appeals, Mercedes couldn’t celebrate the milestone of eighth F1 constructors’ championship since the 2014 season. They beat a formidable rival Red Bull, who came close to clinching the title at times during the course of the year.

While Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton made it back home where the latter attended the knighting ceremony too, Bottas had a hard days since Abu Dhabi finale. He not only tested with Alfa Romeo on Tuesday, he then flew to its base in Hinwil from there.

Even with a delayed flight, Bottas made it to the FIA Prize Gala in Paris where he collected his third place trophy while James Allison represented Mercedes. From there, the Finn flew into the United Kingdom to spend time with the Brixworth and Brackley family.

It was also his last time with Mercedes as they gave him a fitting farewell in combination with the eighth titles celebrations. Hamilton and Wolff were duly present for the function as Bottas had a jolly time alongside his girlfriend Tiffany.
