Dorian Boccolacci and Lando Norris took the pole positions for Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 races at Monza, Italy.

In the early lead, the Tech 1 Racing of Sacha Fenestraz and Dorian Boccolacci started on the lead of the timesheet, as Harrison Scott (AVF) tried to beat the Tolouse team dominance.

The qualifying positions changed a lot with the new tyres that let the drivers improve during the last 10 minutes.

Jehan Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) caused a red flag with 5 minutes remaining after a spun at turn 10. In the same place at the end of the session, Petru Florescu suffered a spun as well. Colin Noble who was behind the AVF driver, couldn’t avoid him and crashed with the Romanian. Meanwhile, Troitskiy crashed at turn 11.

For Race 1, Dorian Boccolacci will start on pole in front de Lando Norris, Sacha Fenestraz, Robert Shwartzman, Harrison Scott, Nikita Troitskiy, Will Palmer, Max Defourny, Gabriel Aubry and Hugo de Sadeeler.

For Race 2, Norris set the 2nd fastest lap and the pole position for the afternoon race. He is followed by Boccolacci, Fenestraz, Palmer, Scott, Shwartzman, Defourny, De Sadeleer, Troitskiy and Aubry.
