With the first F1 2019 Barcelona test in the books, the teams and drivers are gearing up for one final assault before they get ready for the Australian GP.

Although the first F1 2019 Barcelona test did not give a perfect picture of where the teams and drivers stand but it gave us clarity about the close fight we have at our hands in the coming season especially between Mercedes and Ferrari.

A question mark remains over Red Bull Racing though if they or Honda can actually take the fight to the Top 2 teams. The reliability seemed good in the first test as both Red Bull and Toro Rosso managed to eke out many laps without any major failures.

But it is uncertain yet if they ran the power unit on full power. The midfield fight remains tight as well with Renault seemingly holding fort while Alfa Romeo Racing looks likely the one to take the big step up along with Toro Rosso.

Racing Point did not run much while Haas faced electronics issues which hampered their programme. Among the two slower teams of 2018, McLaren managed to have a better time with good number of laps but Williams’ fortunes continued to tumble down.

Things are to get serious in the second test as the teams start on their race programmes and prepare intensely for the first few races of the 2019 season – one reason why all the regular drivers will solely be in action. Here’s how they line-up for the test:

There will be a review show though with F1 TV showcasing its show on March 1 after the four days run is over. Meanwhile, check out how the first test go for all the teams and drivers and who sits where on the lap count standings.
