Lucas Auer has achieved a new pole at the Nurburgring ahead of the BMW’s Marco Wittmann and Bruno Spengler.

After winning the pole yesterday, today has again repeat performance of the Mercedes Lucas Auer, who this time is alone at the head of the standings. And the second Mercedes was Dani Juncadella in ninth place, away from his teammate. Catalan’s performance has been good, beating all veterans of the German mark peers.

Behind Auer they have set up four drivers of the BMW orbit. The best was Marco Wittmann, who will start from the front row to try to take the first position in the first corner. Behind Bruno Spengler, Tom Blomqvist and Augusto Farfus have finished corner the Top 5 of the starting grid for Race 2.

The Audi have come then placing four cars in the top ten, with Juncadella between them alone. The best driver Edoardo Mortara was located in sixth place, followed by Jamie Green and Miguel Molina in eighth place. The Top 10 has closed the pilot that combines its functions in the Rallycross Audi, Mattias Ekström.

The second race of the weekend will be held from 15:00 local time.
