·         Audi lock out the front row in LMP1. The Andre Lotterer/Marcel Fassler No.7 Audi R18 back to the pole on 1:45.842. This compares to last year’s pole time of 1:46.211.

·         Rebellion Racing score the LM P1 Privateer pole at 1:53.646.

·         Nicolas Lapierre and Gustavo Menezes secure the LM P2 pole position with an average time of 1:55.892.

·         Times tumbling in the final three minutes.

·         Toyota’s Kamui Kobayashi recorded the second fastest time and pushed the No.6 car to third on combined average times with four minutes to go. Toyota eventually start 4th and 6th with No.6 and No.5 respectively.

·         Audi No.7 lap four was deleted for excess consumption of energy putting the No.8 car back to P1.

·         Marcel Fassler jumps to P1 with 11 minutes remaining with a time of 1:45.798.

·         Porsche start 3rd and 5th with No.1 919 Hybrid heading No.2 sister car.

·         Roberto Merhi was fastest early in LM P2 at 1:56.195 in Manor Oreca-Nissan.

·         Bruno Senna lowered the LM P2 time to 1:55.754 to go fastest with ten mins to go before Signatech Alpine grab first pole of 2016.

·         G Drive Racing’s Alex Brundle was the first to suffer a track limits drama in LM P2 – running off at turn nine. He then suffered the same problem on both of his next two laps!

·         LM GTE Pro pole goes to Aston Martin Racing’s Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen with an average of 2:04.610

·         LM GTE Am pole also goes to Aston Martin with Pedro Lamy and Paul Dalla Lana with an average of 2:07.683

·         Nicki Thiim pushes the No.95 Aston Martin to the top with one-minute remaining. The average time down to 2:04.610

·         The No.98 Paul Dalla Lana Aston Martin LM GTE Am exceeded track limits with two minutes to go. Harry Tincknell also suffered the same fate. Both had their last lap time deleted.

·         The No.86 Michael Wainwright LM GTE Am Porsche spun with five minutes remaining.

·         James Calado and Sam Bird took over the AF Corse Ferraris with six minutes to go – with the Ferraris 1-2 on the timesheet.

·         After qualifying on pole in the IMSA race, Ricky Taylor went out in the Larbre Corvette and went fastest in LM GTE Am at 2:06.986 with seven minutes to go.

·         The first flying laps by the Fords put the No.66 in P3 and No.67 in P5 after 12 minutes

·         After 10 minutes Gimmi Bruni made it a Ferrari 1-2 with by going a mere .024 of a second faster than Rigon.

·         Davide Rigon lowered the LM GTE Pro time down to 2:04.549 after eight minutes aboard the AF Corse Ferrari.

·         Thiim and Sorensen take third consecutive pole position in No.95 Aston Martin
