Maini, who spent his Formula 3 rookie season with Van Amersfoort Racing, will continue in the series with T-Sport racing.

The Indian driver had already raced with the team for the Macau Grand Prix that which he finished in 10th place for his first participation. He comments:

“The team is filled with individuals who are extremely motivated like myself and after the race in Macau, the decision was much easier for me to make.”

Team owner Russell Eacott is enthusiastic at the idea of continuing the collaboration with the 18 year old driver as he states:

“His speed and work ethic has impressed all the guys”

If T-Sport did not score a single point in the 2015 regular season with Julio Moreno, Arjun Maini who was runner up in BRDC F4 in 2014, finished 18th of the 2015 championship with 27 points with Van Amersfoort Racing. He also benefits from the backing of former F1 driver Karun Chandhok.
