A very intense race today at Nurburgring won by Robert Wickens after an incredible race full of spectacular overtakes, conditioned by the light rain.

Augusto Farfus has a great start keep his 1st position, but at the back of the race a lot of spin rounds and contacts forced the safety car to go out.

While Joey Hand was out immediately, Mike Rockenfeller entered in the pit-stop to setup wet tires due to rain track condition.

Rockenfeller gain the head of the race. Change tires during safety car it was a great strategic choice.

Lap 7 Timo Scheider was involved in an incident and finished his race.

But the true show of the race had yet to begin.

Robert Wickens with a great external wheel to wheel overtakes Molina and Spengler on lap 19 and conquered the 4th position.

But it was not finished.

In the next lap he took advantage of the tight battle between Tambay and Farfus and took 2nd place.

Just amazing moves!!

In the 29 lap Daniel Juncadella was pushed out by Timo Glock, and Glock was punished with a drive trough.

Remarkable and full of emotions the giant battle between 8 pilots for the 5th position, where Martin Tomczyk won.

At 41 lap the race keypoint.

Rockenfeller on the 1st position had to second mandatory pit-stop.

Wickens took the head of the race and he kept till the end!

It was an incredible race, with an aggressive general style of driving of all pilots.

Robert Wickens has won in 1:15:33.710. 2nd Farfus after the pole position and Vietoris after a fantastic race.

Rockenfeller brings home a good 4th position after a no good qualifying session, and brings the head of the championship standing.

Audi has to think up how to improve his results, at Nurburgring no Audi on the podium.
