Alfa Romeo Racing has revealed its 2019 F1 challenger, the C38, at Circuit de Catalunya Barcelona with an unchanged livery.

Following its shakedown at Misano last week in their ‘Valentine’s Day’ special livery, the re-branded Alfa Romeo Racing has officially revealed their 2019 F1 challenger named as C38 at Barcelona pit with only some time to go for the first test to begin.

The team keeps the Sauber initials with ‘C’ in their chassis name. The livery was unveiled by their brand new driver line-up of Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi with the Swiss-Italian team keeping the colour scheme of white and red with stripes of blue on the car.

The slight change is the use of red which is presented in a much larger space than 2018. The driver overalls of Raikkonen and Giovinazzi also remains the same with the red and white combination but with no mention of Sauber.

The team which raced under the Sauber name until 2018 will race under the Alfa Romeo banner from 2019 onward with the main company’s name still remaining as Sauber Motorsport AG as Ferrari exercises more control of the outfit.
