With the 2019 F1 season done and dusted, the teams and drivers have a chance to undertake testing work in Abu Dhabi with the 2020 tyres.

As known for long, Abu Dhabi is to host a crucial 2020 Pirelli F1 tyres test at Yas Marina circuit for days on Tuesday (December 3) and Wednesday (December 4). The test will decide whether or not teams will use the 2019 or the 2020 tyres next year.

After an extensive work all-season long, Pirelli provided the 2020 tyres to the F1 teams during the Friday session in US GP but the results weren’t so good as no one liked it, partly because the conditions weren’t good and the cars were set-up for the weekend.

It was decided then to make a decision until after the Abu Dhabi test, where the conditions will be much better and the car will be tuned in as per the 2020 spec. All the 10 F1 teams will be running with a mix of regular and test drivers across the two days.
