Richie Stanaway has led the only free practice session of the GP3 in Hockenheim circuit, which this weekend hosts races in that category. The Australian has been imposed at the end of the session at the time set by the ART Kirchhofer, leaving her lap more than two tenths, like that of his teammate, Nick Yelloly. In fourth place was located the other ART Dino Zamparelli while Patrick Kujala Marussia Manor Racing to complete the Top 5.
The meeting was marked by several incidents, especially for short trips that have undergone several drivers like Alex Lynn, Emil Bernstorff i Santiago Urrutia, among many others. Nevertheless the highlight has been the crash against the wall wins Adderly Fong, who has half of the session has lost control of his Jenzer Motorsport and has gone against the protections of turn one.
The Top 10 have just completed Bernstorff, Niederhauser, Lynn, De Beer and Agostini, who had to leave their Hilmer lying in the middle when the track was a few seconds before the end of the session. The Spanish rider, Carmen Jorda finished back in 27th place with nothing more and nothing less than five seconds off the lead and two of his closest rival, poor balance for the pilot not long in highlighting the category.
GP3 qualifying will be held tomorrow from 09:45h.
