The pilot of Israel, Roy Nissany will make his debut in Formula Renault 3.5 Series with the French team, Tech 1 Racing.
With 20 years-old, Nissany makes the step up to one of the most important categories to reach Formula 1 someday. Nissany will be the teammate of Aurélien Panis who already was confirmed.
Nissany debuted in the single seater in 2010 at Formula Lista where he finished eighth. In 2011 he joined Mücke Motorsport where he spent two years in the ADAC Formel Masters (achieving a victory and a ninth place in the championship in the second year). He moved up then to the FIA European Formula 3 championchip where he finished on 22th place on 2013 and in seventeenth in 2014.
In October of last year, Nissany debuted with a Formula 1 car, testing with Sauber in Valencia circuit with the 2012 car.
The signing of Nissany compleating the Tech 1 Racing line-up closes the door who seemed to occupy this seat, Richard Gonda, or the same as Andrea Pizzitola.
