Jack Aitken joins RP Motorsport for the back-to.back Formula V8 3.5 final races in Jerez and Barcelona. The Renault Sport Academy young gun will rejoin the Italian squad with whom he has completed some EuroFormula Open races this year.
The Formula V8 3.5 grid continues to receive new drivers. The new recruit in RP Motorsport is Jack Aitken. The British-Korean driver knows the Italian team well since he has participated in some races this year in the EuroFormula Open.
Aitken steps into the Formula V8 3.5 after having won the 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS series. He has also participated in some Formula V8 3.5 pre- Season tests previously this year. Aitken is part of the Renault Sport Academy, the Renault development program for young drivers linked to F1, and has been competing in the GP3 series this year, with 5 podiums in the last 8 races.
