Racing Bulls has demonstrated its strength in the Formula 1 championship, consolidating itself as the “best of the rest” according to F1 TV analyst, Alex Brundle. The team achieved a notable result at the Austrian Grand Prix, held at the Red Bull Ring, with two entries in points.
Drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad finished the race in ninth and tenth positions, collecting a total of three points for the team. At the post-race show on F1 TV, Brundle pointed out that many expected Racing Bulls to fall back during the competition, but the team showed a solid race.
“It was an unusual day for the rest, and they had good pace compared to others,” Brundle commented. “For the first time in a while, they seem to be the best of the rest in both qualifying and the race.”
Lawson expressed his satisfaction with the vehicle’s performance, indicating that his pace was improving as the race progressed, a factor that contributed to his success. Currently, Lawson is in tenth place in the drivers’ championship with 30 points, while Lindblad is in thirteenth with 14 points.
With this result, Racing Bulls sits sixth in the constructors’ championship with 44 points, just thirteen points behind Alpine, which is in fifth place.
