Andrea Lafarja and Germán Maune will compete in the 42nd Rally Villa de Santa Brígida, marking their first time racing on asphalt aboard the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
For that very reason, the objective of this event is to accumulate kilometers on this surface and try to find a good setup ahead of the Rally Islas Canarias, a round that scores points for the Paraguayan duo in WRC2 Challenger and the WRC Masters Cup.
Andrea Lafarja (DRIVER): “For the first time I’m going to drive the GR Yaris Rally2 on asphalt, a surface that’s also new to me, so the goal is to learn, adapt, gain experience, and find a setup that allows me to feel comfortable”.
German Maune (CODRIVER): “It’s going to be our first time racing on asphalt and on the island, so everything will be new for us this weekend… but we’re coming in really eager to learn and gain experience”.
Teo Martín (TEAM MANAGER): “This event will be key for Andrea and Germán, as it will mark their debut on asphalt. Therefore, the focus will be on getting as much driving time as possible, gaining experience, and finding a good setup with the Rally Islas Canarias in mind”.
