Tyler Reddick has achieved a historic victory at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), becoming the first driver to win the first three races of a NASCAR season. With this triumph, Reddick continues his spectacular streak in the 2026 NASCAR Cup championship.
The 23XI Racing driver crossed the finish line with a margin of nearly four seconds over Shane van Gisbergen, making it clear that his strength this season is unquestionable. This victory is not only a major success for Reddick but also for the team, which is the first to achieve winning the first three races of the year since 1963, when Petty Enterprises did it.
After the race, Reddick expressed his pride: “It means a lot to me. It’s so iconic. We’ve worked very hard and didn’t like being outperformed on tracks like this. It’s just one race, but it’s vital to make history with three consecutive wins.”
The podium was completed with Christopher Bell in third position, followed by Ty Gibbs and Michael McDowell. Drivers Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, AJ Allmendinger, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top 10.
The race began with Chastain taking the early lead, but soon Reddick demonstrated his ability to control the competition. In the various stages of the race, strategy during pit stops was key, with several drivers opting to pit strategically to gain positions.
With this new triumph, Reddick has made it clear that he not only seeks to win races but also wants to make history in NASCAR. Competition is becoming increasingly intense, and the next event promises to be equally captivating.
