Williams F1 academy driver Victor Martins got a day of Testing Previous Cars running ahead of this weekend’s Belgian GP, as he readies for F2 outing.
Having joined the Williams programme a few months back, Martins already had his first FP1 outing with the team in Spanish GP at Barcelona. In preparation for his first F1 outing with the Grove-based outfit, the French driver undertook his first TPC outing in Monza with the team.
He shared the test run with fellow F2 driver Luke Browning. In continuation of his TPC programme, Martins had another day of testing at Silverstone this week ahead of this weekend’s Belgian GP weekend at Spa-Francorchamps. He drove the 2023’s Williams FW45 machinery.
It seems like Martins was the only driver in action in a wet Silverstone circuit. Williams has been busy in the two-week break, as they also staged a programme at its Grove base where Carlos Sainz and James Vowles took the FW47 and FW08 respectively, around its headquarters.
