He did it again, the 9 times world rally car champion has won the third stage of 2016 Dakar edition. The Frenchman keep the leadership of Dakar and now is 5 minutes ahead of De Villers Toyota car, and team mate Peterhansel.
Sébastien Loeb has taken his second stage in a row in his rookie Dakar edition.
Today’s stage had to be a 314km but it finally were 200km, due to weather conditions once again. A perfect stage for Peugeot French driver, Sébastien Loeb who led the way lights-to-lights, finishing in front of Spanish team mate Carlos Sainz. Third was Nasser Al-Attiyah.
Loeb have a really good margin already in general standings with Ginel de Villiers (Toyota), who today finished fourth. Solid Stéphane Peterhansel, called “Mr Dakar”, was 10th today and is 3th in the standing. He is followed by another World Rally car coming driver, Mikko Hirvonen. Last year’s winner, Nasser Al-Attiyah is fifth.
