Netflix releases date of F1 Drive to Survive Season 7, as McLaren and Williams name respective new partnerships.
Netflix –
After a long wait, Netflix announced the release date of Season 7 of Drive to Survive, to be March 7 which is a month away from now. The seventh installment captures a closely-fought 2024 F1 season, which was won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman did not have it easy at one point as a dominant start proved to be handy for him in the end to defy McLaren’s Lando Norris to claim his first F1 title. Verstappen secured his fourth, but Red Bull couldn’t extend their era of dominance on constructors’ side.
McLaren managed to beat them and secure their first F1 championship in decades. The season had several stories which should make Season 7 of Netflix show a better watch. It has generated mixed review so far, especially due to the added unnecessary drama.
“We’re really excited for fans to watch the new season of Drive to Survive,” said Tom Hutchings. “The 2024 season was incredible both on and off the track, with the action well and truly underway before the first race in Bahrain. Expect more drama and fun from the paddock this season and a few surprises too.
“Go behind the scenes as teams bid for the hottest drivers on the market, experience a weekend with the drivers at the toughest race of the year; and expect a nail-biting finish right up to the last race. Fasten your seatbelts – this season is going to be our biggest ever.”
