Haas completes its first TPC run in Jerez with Esteban Ocon, Oliver Bearman and Ritomo Miyata to kick-start programme with Toyota.

Ahead of the start of the week, Haas announced its first Testing Previous Cars run in Jerez in Spain for two days on Wednesday and Thursday. It was Bearman who drove on Day 1’s morning session, with F2 racer Miyata to take over in the afternoon.

Ocon ran on Day 2’s morning session, as Miyata then ended the running in the afternoon. While it was first F1 run for the Japanese driver, it was first for both the Frenchman and the Brit in 2025 to kick-start their preparation. It was first with Toyota at the helm too.

The trio had VF-23 at their disposal and were largely positive about the test run, coming off from holidays. There were reports of Mercedes undertaking a test at the same venue, but the German outfit did not wish to make it official to public as Haas did.
