Chloe Chambers will switch from Haas to Red Bull Ford for 2025 F1 Academy season, as she is first to confirmed for a second year.
The Red Bull Academy Programme and Ford Motor Company are proud to announce that they are extending the title partnership of the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme for the 2025 season. The continued alliance further demonstrates Ford’s long supported commitment to attracting more diversity across its motorsport’s portfolio alongside wider initiatives that support diversity and inclusion.
Ford branding will continue to feature heavily on the car and driver suits and apparel. Joining the Team for the 2025 F1 Academy season is driver Chloe Chambers, who brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously raced in single-seaters in USA F4 and W Series, and is currently driving in F1 Academy with Haas and Campos Racing.
Chambers hails from the US, making her the perfect fit to be teaming up with American icon, Ford Motor Company. Ford has been racing since the company’s inception and continues to expand its presence in a diverse portfolio of series around the world from Le Mans to Dakar and from Daytona to Bathurst.
Ford is also partnering with Oracle Red Bull Racing as it works towards the brand’s return to F1 in 2026 with Red Bull Ford Powertrains. The Red Bull Academy Programme is focused on progression and development of young and new female talent and this partnership demonstrates a unified mission to not only support females in motorsport but to also provide additional racing opportunities for drivers.
Ford Performance is committed to working with the FIA and race promoters to find ways to integrate more female talent into all levels of motorsport, both on and off the track. As a demonstration of this, Chambers will be driving in the final round of IMSA Mustang Challenge 2024 – which will take place at the SRO Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS.
The Mustang Challenge sees drivers up to FIA silver ratings compete on a level playing field against other Mustang Dark Horse R cars. In the F1 Academy series drivers can only participate in the series for two years before stepping in to their next phase. The Red Bull Ford Academy Programme Team would like to thank current driver Emely de Heus for her commitment and hard work over the 2024 season and for her overall contribution to the programme.
