Sergey Sirotkin, driver of Fortec Team, set the fastest time of second practice ahead of Round at Moscow Raceway. Second time put Zoel Amberg (AVF), and third time have Roberto Merhi (Zeta Corse). 

Leader of the Championship Carlos Sainz Jr set only 12th time. In the session leader changed many times – Richie Stanaway (Lotus), Oliver Rowland (Fortec Motorsports) and Norman Nato (DAMS). In the end of the session was a yellow flag in second turn and after this were incident between Amberg (AVF) and Stanaway what cause a red flag. Session was not restart.

Sergey Sirotkin beat morning time by Will Stevens more than on 1 second, due to better track conditions.
