The Miami F1 track saw a car land onto the race circuit from the bridge above, killing the person behind the wheels.
In a horrific incident, the Miami F1 track witnessed a major road accident on Thursday afternoon when a car dropped onto the circuit from the bridge above. The incident took place around the Turn 16 area of the circuit, killing the person driving the car.
The driver was heading southbound on the Florida Turnpike near the Hard Rock Stadium. The person driving the Dodge was ejected immediately when the car rammed onto the bridge’s barrier and was seemingly dead before the fire personnel could arrive.
The car somersaulted onto the palm trees below flying over the barrier, before landing onto the F1 circuit. The Florida Highway Patrol noted that the grey Dodge lost control and hit the concrete barrier. The exact turn of events is still being investigated.
