Streaming company and one of Sauber Motorsport’s partner Kick has enhanced its deal with the F1 team after the departure of Alfa Romeo.
Stake and Kick joined Sauber Motorsport in recently while Alfa Romeo were onboard with them. But with the departure of the Italian manufacturer, the Swiss F1 team has enhanced its deal with Kick going forward for at least the next two seasons.
As part of the new deal, the team has been renamed to ‘Stake F1 Kick Sauber’ after the entry was revealed by FIA. Additionally, the chassis name will be ‘Kick Sauber’ for the next two seasons, with the 2024 car number being C44.
“Sauber has always been about innovation, breaking the mould and defying convention,” said Sauber’s Alessandro Alunni Bravi. “The partnership with Kick.com is the latest and boldest display of the philosophy that drives us.
