Drugovich has taken a dominant victory in the second race of ADAC Formel 4 at Nürburgring, Germany. It is his fourth victory of the season. Zendeli and Vips completes the podium.
Felipe Drugovich (Van Amersfoort Racing) was starting from pole position and kept the lead of the race. The Brazilian then pull away from Lirim Zendeli (ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.) who had to defend from the attacks of Andreas Estner (Neuhauser Racing).
But while Estner was trying to overtake Zendeli, the championship leader Juri Vips (Prema Powerteam) overtook the German at the outside of turn 1 for the final podium position.
But like yesterday the race was red-flagged just after 10 minutes of the beginning of the race. The German Cederic Piro (Team Piro Sport Interdental) had a break issue at turn 1 and crashed into the tyres barrier.
That crash damaged the tyre wall, and required the attention from the doctors to Piro, so the race wasn’t re-started.
