Sebastian Vettel has been the quickest during morning session of Formula 1 pre-season testing at Barcelona-Catalunya circuit. The German broke the lap record set by Valtteri Bottas yesterday, and proved that he can go even quicker.

The multiple-Formula 1 world-champion, Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time of the whole pre-season with a lap time of 1:19.024, completed with ultra-soft Pirelli tyres. Despite that great time, Ferrari has shown that they can go even quicker.

Something similar happens in Mercedes, where Hamilton finished 3 tenths behind the German –also under ultra-soft compound. Running with the same tyres was Esteban Ocon who finished third, proving probably the most of the Force India.

Behind the Frenchman finished Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Both Toro Rosso and Red Bull run less than expected with only 34 laps and 41 respectively, which is worrying.

But more worrying is the situation in McLaren-Honda where Stoffel Vandoorne was only able to complete 33 laps and cause 2 red flag periods. Despite that lack of mileage, Jolyon Palmer (Renault) was the one who less laps completed, 31.

Finishing last was Lance Stroll (Williams) who completed 85 laps, simulating race conditions.
