Practice 1
In the first practice session, Nico Rosberg dominated the session in front of his teammate Lewis Hamilton. Kimi Räikkönen was third and his teammate, Sebastian Vettel last. The German driver had engine problems during the session.
Who also had problems is Fernando Alonso, with electronic problems. In Toro Rosso had understeer problems.
But the main problem for everyone was the breaking point at turn 1 and turn 8 where the drivers went off a lot of times in both sessions.
Practice 2
In the second practice the early minutes were dominated by the Mercedes and the Ferrari with soft tyres.
But the important thing was the following laps with the supersoft tyres that made Sebastian Vettel the fastest of the session in front of Rosberg, Räikkönen, Maldonado and Hamilton.
Sebastian Vettel had gearbox problems, and Jenson Button had once again problems with the Honda engine.
