R-ace GP has dominated once again the qualifying session of Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 for Pau Grand Prix race 1. Robert Shwartzman set his third pole position of the season, ahead of Max Defourny and Gabriel Aubry.
As usually in the series the qualifying was separated in two groups of 15 cars. The Pau street circuit was dry despite the wet conditions been declared by race direction.
In Group A the R-ace GP of Will Palmer and Max Defourny have battled for the pole position with Sacha Fenestraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing). At the end it was the Belgian, Defourny who set the provisional pole position with a lap time of 1:13.654.
In Group B despite the good lap times of Max Fewtrell (Tech 1 Racing), Alex Peroni (Fortec Motorsports) and Gabriel Aubry (Tech 1 Racing), nobody was able to stop Robert Shwartzman (R-ace GP) who set an incredible lap of 1:13.447.
