Kimi Räikkönen has been the fastest driver in last free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. His teammate Sebastian Vettel was third as Ricciardo was second on the timetable. Mercedes’ drivers were 5th and 7th.
Last free practice session for this weekend was on and track was warm enough along with the sunny day in Spa-Francorchamps. On very first moments Gutiérrez (Haas) squeezed Pascal Wehrlein (Manor Racing), with the german leaving the track after Radillon and complaining via team radio. Incident was to be investigated.
Early Rosberg (Mercedes) was on top of the timetable, until Ricciardo (Red Bull) climbed to the top just in front both Ferrari drivers.
Meanwhile Hamilton was 20th, just behind both Manor. It was lately announced that Mercedes changed the british’s engine again, so he will be having a total of 55 penalty grid positions, ensuring the last place behind Alonso.
On his side, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) did not even leave the box this session as his car was having problems pressumably with the gearbox. It is to be seen if he will be incurring any penalty for tomorrow.
