Jack Aitken took pole today at the Hungarorinng ahead of his ART teammates, George Russell (2nd) and Nirei Fukuzumi (3rd).

Fukuzumi set the early pace. The Japanese driver had a slight advantage over Hubert and Hyman after their first attempts. Aitken, Maini and Calderón followed them at a not very far distance. Hubert took first place away from his teammate while other drivers such as Russell, Siebert and Alesi joined the battle from pole, although 3 tenths away from Fukuzumi.
