Pirelli announces test calendar for 2018 season

On Last day of testing Mario Isola talked with the media on circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya about Pirelli plans for the 2018 season which is about to start. The italian tyre supplier will do 3 test with their wet tyres through the year, without having in mind the test post race wihich are already planned and, if it rains there, Pirelli and the teams will have more days to test them.

Tha plannig was made to have information of tre slick tyres from all the teams and, despite sometimes therewill be 2 teams sharing the track, everybody will have the chance  and 4 of them will test the wet compounds.

Isola told that in opposition of recent years, on this preseason and thanks to the rain – and the snow – who falled in Barcelona on first testing week, they have some data which will help to improve this wet compounds. Despite the extremely cold temperaturas, this data will be usefull to face the season, something that on the last years it wasnt’t posible.
