Simon Pagenaud has been the fastest of the practice session of IndyCar Series at the oval of Texas Motor Speedway. Penske driver is in front of the 2014 champion, Will Power and Takuma Sato who finished third as a first Honda.
In a 75 minutes session, the Ganassi drivers started up on front with Tony Kanaan and Scott Dixon in a practice where the gap was so little between each other.
The most highlight moment of the practice was the accident that had Ryan Hunter-Reay at turn 2. The Andretti Autosport driver los the control of his car and crashed for first time in an oval with a DW12.
Finally, Simon Pagenaud set the best time before today’s night classifications.
