Lando Norris continues in his dominant way at Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, taking another victory in the championship, this time during Race 2 at Paul Ricard circuit, France. The Briton beat Defourny and Boccolacci in the podium.

The last race of the weekend started with Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing) on pole position ahead of Max Defourny (R-ace GP). The Belgian driver tried to overtook the championship leader at the start but he lost the second place with Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing). Anyway the R-ace GP driver overtook the Frenchman at the end of the lap, while yesterday’s race winner, Harrison Scott (AVF) took fourth position, overtaking Gabriel Aubry (Tech 1 Racing).

Rapidly, Norris build a gap on Defourny who had to defend from Boccolacci. But the Frenchman went off at the straight chicane and remained quietly in third position until the end of the race.

Meanwhile, Boccolacci’s team mate, Sacha Fenestraz who started on eight position, quickly overtook Jehan Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) and Ferdinand Habsburg (Fortec Motorsports) for sixth place.

At the end of the race, Scott spun at third sector and lost the fourth place, finishing in a final ninth position ahead of Will Palmer (R-ace GP).

Lando Norris took his fifth win in the series with Defourny and Boccolacci completing the podium. In points positions finished Aubry, Fenestraz, Habsburg, Daruvala, De Sadeleer (Tech 1 Racing), Scott and Palmer.

Norris have now 202 points in the drivers’ championship, while Max Defourny is back to second with 162.5 points, Scott is down to third place with 148 points.

Next race will be held in one month at Spa-Francorchamps were almost the whole field raced there this year for the Northen European Cup.
