Lando Norris has secured a 1-2 for the Carlin team for the first race of the FIA ??Formula 3 European weekend at Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. Habsburg will be second, followed by Norris’ rivals: Eriksson and Günther.

The first qualifying session of the weekend has seen how the young McLaren driver, Lando Norris (Carlin) has achieved pole position despite being the first time to attend this circuit. The Briton, with a time of 1:28.362, has surpassed his teammate Ferdinand Habsburg by just a hundredth of a second.

The second row of the starting grid will be occupied by the championship leaders, Joel Eriksson (Motopark) and Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam), who has a new decoration in his car, that of Force India’s.

Behind the German, Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) and Ralf Aron (Hitech GP) will start on third row, while David Beckmann (Motopark) will start on seventh place, ahead of the young Ferrari driver Guanyu Zhou (Prema Powerteam).

Completing the top 10 we have: Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) and Jake Hughes (Hitech GP).
