Lando Norris has taken another victory in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, this time at Nürburgring in the last race of the weekend. The Briton beat once again Max Defourny who finished second. Jehan Daruvala completes the podium in a shortened race due to weather conditions.

The second and last race of the weekend for Formula Renault 2.0 NEC started delayed due to the rain and fog, typical form Eifel area.

In first instance, the race was set to be a 22 minutes race with 2 formation laps, but a spun from Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing) during one of those laps and the poor visibility, which delayed more the race.

Finally the race that started was for 19 minutes. Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing) kept the first position at the start ahead of Max Defourny (R-ace GP) who started fourth. Robert Shwartzman (Josef Kaufmann Racing) who won yesterday’s race, received a contact and had to retire, causing the first safety car appearance.

When the safety care joined the pits, the battle for third place intensified with Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) defending from Hugo de Sadeeler (Tech 1 Racing) attack. Both then were passed by Armstrong (R-ace GP) at turn 2, but Daruvala managed to be on third place again at turn 3 where de Sadeeler then was pass by his team mate Dorian Boccolacci, who spun and crashed into Ferdinand Habsburg (Fortec Motorsports) car, making another safety car interruption.

The green flag waved with 6 minutes to go, enough for Alexey Korneev (Fortec Motorsports) to take ninth position after overtake at turn 1, Aubry (Tech 1 Racing) and Mirecki who were battling for that position.

At the end of the day and with only 9 laps completed, Lando Norris took the victory ahead of Max Defourny and Jehan Daruvala. On fourth position finished Armstrong who made an incredible job this weekend.
