Carlin is back in the series with style with Lando Norris and Jake Hughes leading the practice sessions at Hockenheimring.
At the first practice session, the rookie Lando Norris was the fastest ahead of FormulaRapida.net driver, David Beckmann and Callum Ilott. Jake Hughes followed them ahead of Anthoine Hubert.
In the second practice, the champion Lance Stroll set the pace but he finished second, just 0.053 seconds ahead of Jake Hughes. George Russell was third ahead of Joel Eriksson and Maximilian Günther.
