The North European Zone is welcoming the new SMP F4 Championship certified by FIA, starting in Finland by mid-May 2015, stopping in Estonia and for four rounds in Russia.

All the young drivers have shown a strong interest in the series which will reward the winner by a €350.000 prize help to enter the FIA European F3 Championship.
And the first one to step up and sign into the discipline is Finn Niko Kari. The 15 years old karting driver has announced today at the AKK gala that he will be competing in the SMP F4 Championship next season.

“I am really looking forward to start the season, first because I can’t wait to be back to motorsport but as well because this championship will be a very big challenge. It is good to have such a professional series in the North European Zone which will give us, drivers, the access to the European competition. Of course the final prize is the big difference with the other F4 series, the SMP F4 championship is the most rewarding of them all. And I have to say that working with people as Marko Koiranen and Afa Heikkinen who have been winning everything with Koiranen GP is really amazing, I am learning a lot, and will keep on learning the whole season”, commented Niko Kari.

The next SMP F4 Championship test sessions will be held in Alcarras, Spain on 19-22/01 and in Albacete, Spain on 02-05/02 and the season will be kicking off in May 15th in Hameenlinna, Finland.
