Daiko Team Lazarus have announced today that GP3 graduate and race winner Patric Niederhauser will join them this week in replacement of Nathanaël Berthon. The Swiss driver will team-up this week with Sergio Canamasas who is still standing in for the injured Zoel Amberg.

Niederhauser said:

“I am extremely happy about my debut in the GP2 Series in Monza with Daiko Team Lazarus next weekend. I’m ready for this opportunity. It will be an enormous challenge with many new challenging things. I am very grateful with those who offered me this possibility and I will give it my all to achieve as much as possible. A big thank you to all the people who made this debut possible at the last moment as well as to my sponsors and supporters”.
