Raoul Hyman scored his maiden win in GP3 Series ahead of Giuliano Alesi and Nirei Fukuzumi.

Raoul Hyman (Campos) started from pole position ahead of Alessio Lorandi (Jenzer) and Giuliano Alesi (Trident). Lorandi had a bad getaway and dropped back to 7th which gave the second place to Alesi. Anthoine Hubert (ART GP) went wide at turn 1 and lost 4 places on the first lap.

Halfway through the race, Bruno Baptista (DAMS) attacked one of the baguettes kerbs, the front of his car went up in the air and fell heavily, causing the Brazilian to retire with a sore back. A couple of laps later, Niko Kari (Arden) was slowing down on the track, went to the pits before being able to head out again.

In the last laps, Alesi put further pressure upon Hyman. Same format for Ryan Tveter (Trident) who defended his podium until the two last laps where he got overtaken by Nirei Fukuzumi (ART GP). In the last lap, Dorian Boccolacci (Trident) tried to pass Lorandi but eventually rolled over. The Frenchman could get out of the car uninjured.

Raoul Hyman scored his maiden win in GP3 while Giuliano Alesi scored his maiden podium. Nirei Fukuzumi went on the podium for the second time of the week-end and reclaimed championship lead. Tveter, Aitken, Russell, Hubert and Lorandi scored the last points.
