Intense is the word to describe this first qualifying of the season. Shot gaps between some drivers and anything was decided until the last minutes. Many drivers were in the top list to get pole,, but there was a man above the rest: Lando Norris

On the other hand, Campos and Charouz were the worst in track, and MP also. In this way, the Qualifying 1 started under the desert’s moonlight.

Trident’s driver Arjun Maini was the favourite to get the Pole Position at first. He was fast and he wanted this place more than other. But Lando Norris, George Russell and Jack Aitken, drivers in the top Developing Driver’s Program on F1, were in position to get it to.

Ten minutes to left, everything seemed ready to bring George Russell to first position. The Mercedes’ talent set a good lap with 0.5s of pace ahead from the second. But Lando Norris did not give up and he set the fastest time despite a mistake in the last corner. DAMS’ Alexander Albon and PREMA’s Nyck De Vries ended close from them. Therefore, everything so close and ready for tomorrow’s race.
