A sensational Callum Ilott has taken the pole postion for Race 2 and Race 3 for FIA Formula 3 European championship at Silverstone. The Briton has beaten compatriot Lando Norris who finished second. Joel Eriksson will start third in both races.

The second qualifying session of the first round of FIA Formula 3 European championship has leave us the pole sitters for the race 2 and race 3, in this case the pole sitter because it was the Prema Powerteam of Callum Ilott who will start first in race 2 and 3.

At the beginning of the session the Van Amersfoort Racing of Harrison Newey was the first to set a lap rime, quickly the MotoPark of Joel Eriksson improved his lap time before the Prema’s of Maximilian Günther and Mick Schumacher who lead the way then.

With 6 minutes remaining the Carlin’s of Lando Norris and Jehan Daruvala joined the battle for pole position as well as Ilott, who finally was the quickest with the lap of 1:50.482, finishing ahead of Norris and Eriksson. Once again the top 17 finished with only one second gap between them.
