Following today’s feature race at Monte Carlo, it was found that PREMA Racing’s Antonio Giovinazzi had left the track at Turn 10 and gained an advantage during the event. Therefore, the Italian was handed a 5 second time penalty which has been added to his elapsed race time.

He had crossed the finish line in seventh place and is now classified eleventh. As a consequence, Marvin Kirchhöfer is now classified P7 ahead of Nobuharu Matsuhita (who will start from reverse pole tomorrow) and Danïel de Jong. Arthur Pic is promoted to tenth place and pockets the final point available.

Rapax’ Gustav Malja was also found guilty of leaving the track at Turn 1 and gaining an advantage. Five seconds were also added to his elapsed race time as a penalty. The Swedish driver remains P14 in the final classification.
