Fernando Alonso will be in charge of premiering the new McLaren MCL33 of this 2018. The Spanish will drive the new car on Monday 26 of February on the first day of pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.


The pre-season of Formula 1 is approaching. The new cars are about to be presented and the pre-season tests are two weeks. As revealed by the American website Motorsport.com, McLaren F1 Team line-up for the first four days of the test is already established. The one in charge to make debut with the new MCL33 propelled with Renault engine, will be Fernando Alonso, who already did years ago with the new cars of Woking’s squad.

Alonso will get on McLaren on Monday 26 of Frebruary and Wednesday 28, while Stoffel Vandoorne will take charge of the relay on Tuesday 27 and Thursday 1 March.

Before all this, the car will be presented on February 23 via online, while shortly after two days of ‘filming day‘ to put the car on track and make the first kilometers.

To all this, the line-up is still unknown for the second week of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 6 to 9 March. In addition, the rest of the teams have not yet shown who and when their drivers will go up their respective cars during the first week of testing.
