It’s not Nasr, it’s not Palmer, it’s not Wehrlein but the Frenchman Esteban Ocon will be behind the wheel of the Force India for the 2017 season, as FormulaRapida.net can reveal.

After many rumours state, FormulaRapida.net can reveal that Esteban Ocon who currently is racing for Manor Racing in Formula 1, will join Force India after signing a deal for the 2017 Formula 1 Season.

Looks like Ocon, former Renault 3rd driver, had a pre-contract with the French squad to be racing in 2017. But despite being the favourite for Frederic Vasseur (Renault Sport F1 Team Principle), Renault decided to get Hulkenberg in the team because they were looking for a driver who “can lead” the French project.

So the room at Force India was open, and after a great impression from last year testing at Barcelona and Spielberg, the Indian squad decided to conclude a deal with the Mercedes young driver.

The deal is done and that’s why FormulaRapida.net is telling you that Ocon is joining the Indian team for the next season.

Remember that Esteban Ocon won last year’s title in GP3 Series. In 2014 won he FIA Formula 3 European championship –against Verstappen, and in 2013 finished in the top3 of Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, giving a successful curriculum for a driver who joins a team to fight for points.

Now the Renault decision will be the key, Magnussen would probably join but some rumours state that he received an offer from Haas. Nothing official but as soon as FormulaRapida.net knows the truth, we will let you know. Magnussen as well, may be joining IndyCar with Andretti Autosport if he doesn’t reach an agreement in Formula 1 as American media reported.
