Charlie Eastwood set the fastest lap time in the first free practice session of Formula Renault 2.0 NEC at Assen, Netherlands. Ukyo Sasahara finished on second place follow by the driver who dominated the session, Kevin Jörg. On 10th place finished the leader of the championship, Louis Delétraz.


Important weekend for the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, a series inside the Gamma Racing Days, that will receive an 80.000 of persons in the circuit through the weekend, which we aren’t going to see any live image.

Today in the first practice session, the Josef Kaufmann Racing driver, Kevin Jörg dominated the session until the end of this, when Charlie Eastwood (AVF) and Ukyo Sasahara (ART Junior Team) improved the lap of the Swiss driver.

The best rookie driver was his team mate, Nikita Mazepin, as his other team mate, the driver’s point’s leader, Louis Delétraz, only finished on tenth place.
