Andrea Dovizioso has got the pole positions scoring a laptime 2 tenths faster than Valentino Rossi’s time. Jorge Lorenzo has scored the third one.

The heavy rain that Moto2 riders had to suffer, stopped for the MotoGP Qualifying Session.

All the riders left the pit-lane during the first minutes of the Q1, Bradl had a Little crash and the first ones to score a laptime were Rabat and Hernández.

After passing the first half of the session, the two fastest drivers were Baz (2:12.884) and Cal Crutchlow, 0.025 seconds behind him. But with 5 minutes to go, Crutchlow got the first position. On the other hand, Bradl could go out again and he made a time that left him in P6.

Baz and Smith were 1 tenth behind Cal and trying to score a better time but, with the chequered flag, the British improved his time to make sure that he will pass to Q2 with Loris Baz.

In the second round of qualifying, Héctor Barberá and Jorge Lorenzo were the first to leave the pitlane, but quickly, their times were improved by Dovizioso, Rossi, Aleix Espargaró and Iannone.

Márquez was placed second and Lorenzo improved Rossi‘s time to be third, while Dovizioso was in the lead.

With 3 minutes to finish, Cal Crutchlow suffered a crash when he was in P11, which made him lose a great opportunity as hewas doing a good lap. 1 minute later, Aleix also fell at Turn 9.

With the checkered flag, Dovizioso improved his own time and ensured the Pole. Behind him, Lorenzo placed second but Rossi stole him the position. Marc Márquez could only be fourth and Crutchlow, despite the fall, he scored an amazing time placing him fifth, ahead of the official Ducati of Iannone. Seventh finished Aleix Espargaró with his teammate behind him. Bautista, after making discrete Qualy, has managed to be ninth, just ahead of Baz, who closes the Top10.
