Lance Stroll is back in the top of the podium after a dominant pace from lights to flag by the Canadian. Ilott and Russell completes the podium of Race 2 at the Red Bull Ring, Austria.


Perfect race for Prema Powerteam driver Lance Stroll who dominated the whole race. Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) took the second place thanks to his start. The former Red Bull driver overtook George Russell (Hitech GP) –finished third, at the start.

Out of the podium finished the rookies Niko Kari (Motopark) and David Beckmann (kfzteile 24 Mücke Motorsports). Beckmann’s team mate, Mikkel Jensen finished sixth after a though battle with Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam).

Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) finished seventh despite start from sixth. The Red Bull youngster is having a difficult weekend in terms of pace, like Pau Grand Prix winner Alessio Lorandi (Carlin) – ninth, or Joel Eriksson (Motopark) –tenth.

Stroll is now leading the championship with one race of gap, 25 points is the difference between him and the British Callum Ilott. Third in the standings is Maximilian Günther 35 points behind the leader, as Russell continues fourth with 47 points behind Stroll.
