Max Defourny confirmed this morning he will continue to race with ART Junior Team in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and NEC.

The Belgian driver comes as a favorite for both titles in Formula Renault with his collaboration with ART Junior Team.

As Manor and Koiranen GP are leaving the category, the number of teams able to clench the Formula Renault 2.0 titles reduced radically. ART is still one of these teams especially by keeping Defourny who although tested for Tech One during the post-season tests.

The 17 year old driver won the 2015 rookie championship in NEC and finished fourth overall. He had previously raced in Formula Renault 1.6.

According to his management, Driver Club Management, the Belgian driver had received offers in GP3 and Formula 3.5 V8, but Defourny himself chose to stay in Formula Renault 2.0.
