The RC Formula team’s first year in the VdeV Single-Seater Championship culminated last October with an excellent second position in the championship. This year, the team is confident they can win their first championship title. It is in this spirit and with great pleasure that the Luxembourg team announces today the arrival of the Swiss driver David Droux to defend its colors in 2015.

After a successful year in the Autosport Academy F4 championship, the Lausanne native is now joining the Renault 2.0 Formula, considered among the promotional formulas as a springboard to the pinnacle of single-seater car racing. After showing strong potential during the inter-season testing, there are no limits to the goals set for the coming season, a situation which greatly pleases Yves Richer, the team principal of the RC Formula team. “I am pleased to welcome a young driver like David Droux, friendly and promising. He demonstrated a strong potential in F4 and I think that, with him, we have a good shot at winning the VdeV Single-Seater Championship. ”

The young Swiss driver does not hide his enthusiasm for this start of the season either, which will begin on the 20th of March in Barcelona. “It is a pleasure for me to start working with the RC Formula team for the 2015 season in a car in which I will be able to broaden my single-seater experience. It is true that after the convincing winter tests and the results achieved by the RC Formula team last year with the driver Jordan PERROY, it was for me a logical decision to join this team in the hope of conquering the title together!”

As they await to see the first fruits of this collaboration, which will undoubtedly be quick to materialize, the whole RC Formula team wishes once more to welcome David onboard and all the best for the 2015 season.
