Max Chilton got his first victory in Indy Lights at the Iowa Corn oval. The Brit has dedicated the win to his former F1 teammate Jules Bianchi, who passed away last night. Jones finished in 2nd place and gets closer to Harvey, who finished 5th. Enerson completed the podium.


The starting grid for the Indy Lights was dominated by the European today, with Chilton ahead of Jones and Havey. The Carlins kept the lead ahead of RC Enerson who got up to 3rd. Behind, Pigot lost several positions. Kaiser overtook Anderson and Ethan Ringel and put himself up to 5th on lap 40.

Halfway through the race, Ed Jones caught Chilton for the lead after he lost time on traffic. He got the lead back and his teammate Jones completed a Carlin one-two. RC Enerson finished 3rd. They were followed by Kaiser, Harvey, Anderson, Piedrahita, Pigot, Blackstock, Serralles and Ringel.
