The 2016 season has come to an end in October last year with the Championship crowning his first ever winner, Red Bull Junior driver Richard Verschoor.  This season, will start in a month shy, with 7 rounds from Spain, to France and Portugal.

The first round will be held on June 23-25 in Motorland, together with Formula V8 3.5, to continue after the summer break in Navarra on 2-3 September for a stand alone weekend. The Championship will then visit Formula 1 circuit of Barcelona on 16-17 September, to then head south in Jerez on 23-24 September. In October the SMP F4 NEZ Championship certified by FIA will visit again Navarra on 14-15 October, and will then make a maiden visit in France on the southern circuit of Nogaro on 27-29 October, to end the season in Estoril, Portugal on 11-12 November.
